this weekend was a blast!!! the actuall leadership conference that i went for was ok. . . lots of listening and stuff. but hanging out with jess and jacinda was SO FUN!! did alot of stuff that no one but us would consider fun or even worth doing plus lacrosse, talking and looking at housing at utah state. . . . holy cow, another come to reallity moment for me this weekend . . . . nothing up at any college will be anything close to my house, my family my dog and my room. i'm going to miss it. . . . . but i've finally narowed my education future :) i'm going to get a major in bioveterinary science and a minor in wildlife conservation/science. . . . i've decided my dream job( well, thats realistic) would be working with wildlife with a house next to the mountains or a national park but not way to busy so i can stay home with family most of the time :) wow, life goes by way to fast!

well i finnished my "leaves floating in water" painting today :) so excited! i'm also way excited for college PE classes believe it of not lol! the have classes like: cayaking, rock climbing, wilderness survival, and tones of self defense type things! way fun. well over and out :) . .. here's a picture a pond that i've been fishing at since i was old enough to hold a fishing pole :) its in tabiona UT. it was starting to rain, bad for fishing, but it made a good picture :)

Im going to Utah State tomorrow!!! i'm so excited!! and guess what! i got my acceptance letter there yesterday!. . . well i.m getting ahead of myself. . . so on wednesday i went ot the utah state open house thing :) it was really cool!! and i'm actually thinking about majoring in wildlife biology rather that biovetrinary science but its still all up in the air :) . .. still havent gotten my act score back yet and its killing me!! oh and guess who i saw at the open house . . .. . my enemy teacher Mr Stuckie who gave me the worst grades in my life preventing me from getting good schollarships by .02 of a grade point :( i made it a point to avoid him. then today in photo i took the entire class period to make one photo and when it was on the drying rack and i was at my desk she evidentally asked someone whos picture it was and called me from across the room saying that she really liked it!! she never really compliments people, i was really excited!! then voice lessons where today, that went really well :) i love going to voice cause i feel that i can actually kinda sing for about an hour afterwards, then i go back to being myself lol. well now i'm getting ready to leave tomorrow so i'll see you all soon :) . . . ( no more month long breaks :) ) oh and i'll post some of my senior pictures for you all :) enjoy because these are the last pictures of myself i'll be posting, at least for a verry long time :)

wow, how long has it been? . . . nevermind, dont tell me :) . . . well now i,m going to do some catching up. basically i turned 18, t tried out for math and art sterling schollar, took lots of pictures, painted alot, transferred out of AP statistics and into research!:):) , sent in applications to BYU and Utah state (even though i'm 99% sure i'll be going to utah state) and probably alot more that i cant really remember right now, . . . .oh ya!! i got back my senior pictures!! they look great! . . . unfortunatly i'm on my dads computer so no pictures for you :( . . . today i was asked by my art teacher to be one of the few to represent our school in an art contest at jordan this friday where you start painting at 8, finish at 12 have lunch while they judge and then theres an awards ceremony. evidentally its for all the schools in the jordan school district. it sounds fun, but ( dont worry jess :) ) i told them i had plans to go up to Utah state for a leadership cunference:) that will be fun to, and i will get to miss school too . . . verry fun. . . . but even funner, after 4 i get to hang out with jess all day!! and then stay the night in her dorm and spend the entire day saturday hanging out with her!! so fun!! sorry again for the long wait. . . now that i'm out of stats i'll have much more time to update you all :) (when i say you all its probably a grand total of 2 poeple but thanks anyway, , haha! )

another day

ya my lifes not to exciting right now. . . . i'm just packed with homework. . . . worked again today, oh i sung on sunday. . .did i mention that? . .. and i'm way excited for photo and art :) even though they are killing me with homework :) well, over and out.. . . oh and this is the owl that stayed in our chicken coop last winter!! :) so cool!

ok jk!!! i'm really not psycic :) . . . this is the real thursday ... basically i just had my first vocal lesson :) ya i started lessons with my sister and her friend jaylynn. and my nana from colorado came :) . . . . friday, i um . . . . well i drove carpool, and uh, i dont remember anything else. but saturday i started my job once again teaching lacrosse :) way fun!!. .. then i did some yardwork and went to the fair with my family and nana! that was great!! . . . just a warrning though, if you ever come to the fair with me, plan on taking 2 hours to walk through the painting and photography exibits. .. they are my FAVORITE!! i got alot of ideas! then today was sunday, and me and my sister sany Israel Israel God is Calling in sacrement meeting today! . .. we did parts first and last verse then started the second verse with me (solo) then aubrey (solo) . .. I was crazy nervouse!!! but it went ok :) then came home, did homework and played guitar :) . . .way fun.

wed. -thu.

ok :) . .. so wednesday i pretty much just finished up developing pictures for photo, and i used filters!! i'm so proud of myself!! :) . .. then after school we went to a neighborhood BBQ , the food was great!! then we played a little game of, no rules basketball, it was a BLAST!! . . . but somewere durring one of the battles for the ball, i got elbowed in the jaw. . .. (it still hurts) lol.. . . . ok so today started amazing!! it was raining:) then after school i had sem council were we made a sem TV. . . . but on the way home . . . . um, ya . . . i got my first speeding ticket :( . . . and of coarse i didn't have my license . . . so , ya. i cried, i'm not going to lie, lol. but i guess thats life, now i'm going to have to take a defencive driving course to take it off my record :( oh joyful funness. . . . then i went to mutual and we made smoothies!! they were so good!!! . .. well over and out :)

yep i told ya so! i dont have the will power to write in a blog every single day of my increasingly busy life. . . . and i think i am dislexic. . . . but anyway my life for the last 5 days. . . . thursday was way fun at school!! we made grounds in art studio, basically made a really big mess with paint!! :) i've decided that the best activity for a friend get-together or a group date would be to have a paint war and take pictures afterwards :) . . . but thats all i remember of thursday, friday i woke up and it was one of those days where i just knew it was going to be an amazing day :) i basically have no more worries with photography :) everyone thinks my pics are amazing . . .(even though theirs are much better, i'm not a complete failure at life) and i know how to develop now. and i found out that i aced a quiz that i thought i failed on wednesday cause i didn't have a calculator. :) evidentally i am good at long division :). . . then yesterday my family and my uncle lee, cousins kelsie,and kass. and my uncles girlfriend Nena and her daughters mika and mandy. . . well anyway we all went to boondocks :) it was a blast! 11 hours there, it was crazy! BUT THEY TOOK DOWN THE ROCK WALL!! i was upset. and i got kind of sick from waiting in line for the racing cars and breathing the exhaust, if i waited in line one more time i could have died, they should have a warning sign . .. . WARNING: car exhaust kills people . . . . .and then have some random fact about how breathing exhaust kills three times as many people each year as second hand smoking. . . . wow i'm on one today,. . .. anyway . . . today i went to church, all the youngwomen, relief society and primary presidencies got released. .. . and my mom got called as the young womens secratary!! so fun!! . . . and jess' mom got called as the president!!! i'm so excited!! oh ya, and i was called to be on the stake youth council with my friend jacinda!! we even had a meeting today and i found out that sara from school is in it too! well we got alot done :) i'm happy about it :) . . . . and now i'm working on homework :( . . . . over and out. . . (by the way i'm going to try to add pictures whenever i can, it makes my blog more interesting, . . . by the way, all the pics are ones i've taken or painted unless i say otherwise) todays picture i took in the gulley on one of me and jess' day hikes last year. :)

tue. . . back to school

well not much today happened at school, i sat in the wrong seat durring two of my classes, i took the last 10 min of lunch to lay out on the grass by myself. . . have i mentioned that i love my psycology class :) . . .and art was really fun to, we got our "travel kit " today. . . . then after school i went to slcc and bought a bool for english, and we went to a church meating were a person from my moms work was speaking about being held hostage at a hospital for 18 hours were the guy shot and killed someone. . . it was so scary to start thinking about!! serriously what would you do in a situation like that were a guy has a gun to your head. . . well ending on a happy note . .. i finnished my guitar song!! its way cool . . . i just cant sing it yet. and for fun . . hers another picture :)

labor day!

no school!! :) basically i slept in, did chores, made a magnet board, and i am halfway done with the lyrics of "let it rain"!!! i'm so excited!! school starts tomorrow. . . hopfully my rose painting is safe :( well todays entry was short so i decided to add a picture just to try it out :) ha ha!

ok so i'm already starting to get behind. . . thats not good! . . . so friday was one of those days were i woke up and just knew it would be a good day :) . . . is was worried about my photo class and developing but it turns out i get to do it next time :). . . after school i missed the football game :) . . .( which we won by the way) because i went to dinner with my cousins, uncle and his new girl friend. . . it was kinda important because this was the first time my cousins had ever seen their dads girlfriend. . . we went to godfathers pizza were i ate 6 or 7 pieces? ( i lose count) and 2 bread sticks ha ha! then we went ot some mall complex out west were my dads work buddies had a gig with thier band ( rockin rob and the hound dogs) i think everything went really well, went to bed really late! 1-ish . . .
saturday morning i woke up at about 9:30 to a phone call from jess who came home from college for the weekend! :) anyway i went on an awesome hike up by the alta ski resort with her and her family to a place called secret lake were we ate snacks and cought salamanders !! there were a ton of them in the lake!! then i came home and worked for a long time . .. ran some erands with my mom, and picked up a bird cage for piper!! while we were out we also named all our cars so we wouldn't get them all mixed up so here it goes. . . grandma's truck= the rock...for reasons my mom wont let my say, . . . . the suburban=the bolt. . . . got it from the movie RV it stands for Big Old Lurching Terd. . . . .the red car= Mickey. . . . because of the mouse we lost in it and has never been found, plus it has a smileyface license plate. .. . . and the new Kia spectra= sac. . . .stands for Seceret agent car because it has supper dark windows and a "bullet hole" in the windshield. .. its awesome.
sunday. .. woke up, went to church, then our family went with the trapps up to their cabin. . . it was amazing!!! two of my favorite things at one time!! being in the mountains and thunderstorms at the same time!!! we played games, played guitar, and drank hot chocolate!! what a perfect day!

thursday

well. . . . regular school again today. . . but i was really happy with my studio art class today :) we actually started drawing!! ( and evidentally in comparison to everyone else i'm not as bad as i thought i was) we were sketching one of the other people in the class and she was going around giving pointers out to people ( everyone except me, she told me good job) . . . ( it wasn't really that hard, i was just folowing directions and everyone else wasn't) but it made me feel good anyway. . . . but she made us bring in some of our paintings so we could go over how they are graded, well we didn't get to that today, so i'm kinda worried because she mad us leave our paintings there at school!! . . . i dont think i'll be able to sleep tonight, i'll probably have nightmares. . . plus leaving it as school also means forfeiting entering it into the county fair :( . . . oh well, theres next year i guess. . . . . and today after school i got to take pictures with a reall camera for the first time in my life!!! it was so cool!! i started in my back yard, walked to the cemetary, through the huge field of dead weeds and grass to the knights horse jumping pen where i took some awesome pics of jumping horses!!hopefully they will turn out, sigh, i guess i'll find out tomorrow, wow i really hope i remember how to develope film! or i think my teacher will hate me forever. :(. . . . but i've decided that i dont like 35 mm as much as digital cause you cant see the pics . . . and digital doesn't involve developing!

Ha Ha !!! . . . wow this is the earliest i have ever written in my blog believe it of not :) . . . and i just go through reading some of my previouse stuff and i just have to say sorry to all of the few people reading my blog about the spelling. it is simply shameful!! but its really no suprise is it? ive always kinda been bad at it ;) . . anyway day 3 . . . just more school . .. but i dont know if i ever told you what i have on A day so here it is . . . class#1= sem. . . have the only girl teacher, sis. savage, she loves object lessons:) . . . class#2= accapella. . . tried out today . . . she put me in an alto position :) . . . . class#3= ap photography. . . this is the class im most worried about believe it or not . . . i know i'm the absolute most inexperienced in the class and i think the teacher would kick me out if she really knew how much i dont know, Ha Ha. . . good thing i'm a quiet person;) class#4= ap statistics. . . horrible class to have last, but its the easiest math i've taken in years believe it or not, just a bunch of graphs and charts:) . . . ya thats pretty much it, i took a nap after school (sorry jess) and did homework, and i'm getting the camera i'm borrowing from my uncle tonight!! way excited :) yep thats it!

day 2

day two . . . i'll keep it short because i want to get tko bed earlier today because this morning i wok up and couldn't open my eyes until i had to drive . . . . even then i had to use duck tape to keep my eyelids open :) . . . well i went to school 6:30 as usual . . . i'm starting to think thats to early. . . .first class= english 1010 . . . looks like a strict teacher and alot of busy wrighting whitch is to bad . . . i dont like either. . . . second class= government. . . its going to be a way easy class, first assignment is to watch tv :) . . .he is also good with mp3s and phones in his class. . . . it will probably not effect me though because i'm to worried to bring my mp3 and there is no cell service in his room ( like theres any in alta anyway). third class= psycology. . . i'm so excited for this class!! it is going to be so fun!! already learning cool new things. fourth class= studio art(ap) . . . holly cow i feel so intimidated by this class!!! everyone seems so much better than me at drawing! i have no idea what to expect in this class but it will be really fun all the same. . . . . . . . . . . . one of the baby quail died today :( but the rest look really healthy. . . . tonight me and my mom went to get gas in the truck just to get to the station and find that we didnt have the lock for the gas tank ( it has a separate lock so you cant unscrew the little knobby thing) so we ran back to the house to get the key hoping we wouldn't run out of gas on the way home. . . we get there to find that the gas tank wasnt locked in the first place. . . way funny! :) . . . and i called my friend Jess at college and talked to her for an hour :) so fun :)

first day as a senior

wow, i'm a senior this year . . . wierd huh? ha ha . . . i drove to school in the big red truck. . . thats right, IM driving to school. this morning i had 45 min to walk around and soak in the power of being a senior . . . watching all the sophmores scramble around with their scheduals, struggle to open their lockers and everything els that comes from being that young. :) oh poor souls. . . . school was average, of couarse i'm starting out as an over achiever ( well see how long this lasts, hee hee) . . . . everything still feels like i'm in a dream or something . . . school really isn't happening, is it? . . . well after school everything outside smelled like smoke, you could see the air in front of you it was so bad . . . . as we were driving home we noticed a huge fire! on the mountainside!! as we got closer to our house the smoke was so thick it was blocking the sun and casting a shadow over our house!! it was crazy! . . . well when the boys and kass got home at 4 we all went to primary childrens hospital so that me dad and eli could get our blood drawn for the genetic tests again ( last time they lost our blood before it got tested:( ......) well evidentally they want to see if a sertain mystery genetic mutation runs in our family because my sister aubrey and brother josh have it. . . . we dont know much about it now but i think that its probably a bigger deal than theyre making of it. . . . then we had an organized family home evening for the first time in forever that was ment to show just how horribly familys work together, i dont think any family has ever passed the first time, or the second , or the fifth. . . we were there for a long time! ha ha . . . .oh ya!! the 4 baby quail hatched today!!! they're so cute!!! well wish me luck tomorrow . . .school day #2

9 hours

9 hours till shcool starts . . . .8 hours till i get to school and 7 hours till i wake up. . . . . and probably 2 hours till i get to sleep :) ha ha ( sorry jess) well last night my dad tried to cut his hair . . . and it looked hiddiouse, we had to shave it to salvage it, and luckily . . . i had the honors :) today i got in a chocolate cake batter fight with my brother eli who is now back from bear lake ( i won:)) and i worked on my piano piece!!!! i now have one more line :) but it sounds cool it changed from a minor to c major ( i think) :) well anyway . . . we had an awesome dinner!! i don't know what its called but its one of my favorites :) we had my uncle and his girlfriend over for dinner . . . she's way nice ( laughs alot). i played guitar after they left, then i let my cousin pick out my school clothes for tomorrow cuz i don't really care, and now i'm going to bed :) . . .oh ya!!! 4 of the quail eggs are hatching !! i bet we'll have 4 new chicks by tomorrow !! ( sorry jess you dont get to name any ;) jk any sudgestions from anyone are welcome . . . we wont know if theyre boys or girls for 2 months so dont ask :) )

one more day until my life and soul is taken over by that thing called school :( nothing really interesting happened today. . . woke up, cleaned the kitchen, cleaned piper's cage, ran to the store to pick some things up for my mom. . . my brothers and dad have been picking on me today, nothing new. . . i'm kinda stressed too, . . . my 13 year old cousin is moving in with us, her bedroom is across the hall from mine and i feel like i have all the responsibility to make her feel welcome at our house because i'm the only one she really feels she can talk to and hang out with. ( her names kasidee by the way) and then i'm just feeling that now i'm a senior i have, and am quickly accumilating many new responsibilitys and its all kinda overwelming :( oh well . . . i'll stop jabbering all my problems to you, i promise i dont complain this much usually :)

friday

ok, so theres good news and bad news . . . . good news: we got our air conditioner fixed!!! bad news: we had to tear down our entire basement bathroom ceiling and part of my bedroom ceiling to do it :( but it was worth it! :) i can finally sleep at night. oh ya and its officiall :) i am now a certified veterinary technition! ( and the certificate even has my name speled right). today has basically been packed way busy of very not very important things, so i'll only say the things worth mentioning. . . this morning we went to joshes school and helped his teacher organize wile they(kassidee and eli, but eli's still not home from bear lake so mom went) had orrientation...the baby quail, deseda died today too, she hadn't been looking too good, she's had a hard time walking this whole week. but piper is doing just fine, i think she's about 2 months now and we are fore sure she's a girl, all her grown up feathers are grown in now :) we think were going to keep her inside in a bird cage so she can be around people. i also ran all around today with our errands trying to find the second and serenade cd "awake", we have there other one and i think they are now my favorite group. . . . just watched "serenity" . . . thats a good show!. . . .well thats about it, 2 more days of summer :( is should start counting the hours now, huh?. :(

well today the air conditioner still isn't working, and i'm still tiered. . . woke up at 5 to drive aubrey to drivers ed, and had to semi clean my room supper fast so that the air conditioner guys could bust a whole in my wall to get to the vent. :( oh but i did get to take my brother josh swimming for the neighborhood swim day. . . that was pretty fun, as soon as i got there it was an emidiate game of, "everyone hit jordann with squishy pool toys" you might think i'm beeing sarcastic, but i really enjoyed it. 7 ten year old boys against me, two tag alongs on my side (4 year olds) who wanted to do all the throwing for me, so basically i took the hits gave the 4 year olds my amo and let them lightly toss them to my "enemys" lol, it was fun.

6 days . . . .

wow... only one week till school starts. *sigh* i guess i'll survive. i didn't sleep very well last night, it was way to hot, the air conditioner is still broken, i think tomorrow i'll sleep outside it much cooler out there! ha ha :) well today i went to the tech center to pick up my veterinary technition certificate because they spelt my name wrong on the first one ( suprise suprise). and i walked in to find one of my vet teck friends had been bitten be one of the ten foot boas!(she had taken a job at the tech center to jtake care of the animals for the summer. . . . .its ok if your confused;) ) it looks pretty bad, you can see the whole outline of the snakes mouth, she'll have some pretty nasty briuses, but she was laughing the whole time, kinda remends me of me :) ha ha. well the teacher wasn't there so i'll have to go back on thursday and pick up the certificate if i remember :) ~~~~~after that my day has been pretty uneventful, cleaned the kitchen really good, and went to cabbellas. . . . .oh ya!! when i was home cleaning the kitchen my sister and mom were out shoe shopping and they found a size 10.5 !!! (i know i have supper big feet) but they dont make 10.5 size shoes because the only girls with that big of feet are related to sasquach ( he's my great uncle on my dads side ;) ) they stop half sized at 9.5 and some stores dont even carry sizes past 10( for all you people with small feet, just so you know, not that it matters ha ha) well now i guess some brands carry them! :) . . . . .well i've got to wake up early to drive my sister to drivers ed at 5 so i'de better stop jabbering and get some sleep :)

today was a long day, basically i went clothes shopping for school, (not my favorite passtime). . . . . .and our air conditioner is broken. . . its really hot at my house. . . . . but on the bright side i made a new guitar song! . . . its called "burning" along with my previous song "get the picture" that makes two total, . . i'm also working on one called "let it rain" (i think i'll call it that) but i want it to be good so its taking a long time :( as for my piano song i am making up, it is also at a stand still, every time i sit down to work on it i come up with something different that i like, so untill i come up with something amazing i guess it will have to stay how it is.

day one :)

well, i finaly got this started :) (thanks jess) hopefully i'll be more faithfull in keeping this updated than my journal ha ha. well todays been just dandy, but i cant believe that school is starting in one week! usually i'd be ready for it to start back up again . . . but not this time. one year just isn't enough time before i move out and grow up.. . .sigh. . . .oh well lilfe goes on. being a senior is going to rock! well anyway we just got back from out last trip of the summer, we went camping in hanna, (its just a small town with one gas station with one pump and no school) and guess what? i got to go four wheeling for real, for the first time! its so fun!! man i love camping! the only thing that would make it better would be if we caught more fish. . . my dad is going through this fishing craze, we went fishing 6 times this trip and we only caught one fish. . . . but it was huge!! a 20 inch brown, havent cooked it yet but i'm looking forward to it :) well over and out.
